About the Role
CorePath, a nationally recognized pathologist-owned laboratory, is seeking a Board-Certified AP/CP Pathologist to join our growing hospital-based practice in Dothan, AL. This position offers the autonomy of an independent hospital role with the strong backing of a collaborative, experienced pathology team. What You Will Do

Sign out a wide range of anatomic pathology cases
- Provide frozen section coverage
- Oversee clinical laboratory operations and quality
- Collaborate with a dedicated onsite Pathologists’ Assistant (majority of grossing performed by PA)
- Access remote digital pathology support and expert consultation
- Participate in tumor boards, hospital committees, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, Joint Commission, and hospital standards
What We Are Looking For

Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
- Subspecialty training preferred but not required
- Eligibility for Alabama’s medical license
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to practice independently in a hospital setting
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and collaborative care
